I, personally have never been fond of MTV.

The only aspect of MTV that I’ve ever cared about is former NBC Radio and WMAQ-AM-FM employee who was based in Chicago, Robert Pittman; who was largely responsible for the transition of WMAQ-FM into WKQX-FM, and had made WKQX-FM NBC’s most profitable and attractive Radio property before they had exited the Radio business in the late 1980’s, was involved in the startup of MTV at the time is was founded by a joint-venture between Warner Entertainment and American Express called Warner-Amex Satellite Entertainment.
